FAQ…
1. Where are you located?
3732 Waverly Road in Owego. Check out our Google map. We have reserved parking for visitors right across from the front doors.
2. What time are your services?
What are they like and how long do they last?
Wow... two for one questions... No Problem!
We have 2 services on Sunday morning...
The early service begins at 8:15am and the music is traditional hymns/choruses and softer contemporary songs using the organ and piano with a little guitar thrown in.
The later service starts at 11:00am and the music is louder and more contemporary with a worship band (drums, guitars, keyboards). The Owego Naz Worship Choir sings in this service.
Pastor Dennis preaches the same sermon in both services.
Each service lasts about seventy five minutes.
3. Do I have to dress up?
Not unless you want to. You’ll see people wearing everything from jeans and T-shirts to suits and dresses. Most people dress nice casual.
4. Are you going to make me stand up and feel uncomfortable?
No. You’ll meet some friendly people when you come through our front doors and they will invite you to stop at our welcome center and we have a gift bag full of nice stuff about our church for you. After that, you’ll probably want to get a free cup of delicious coffee in The Gathering Place. When you’ve finished your coffee, you can sit anywhere you like in our main worship area.
5. Are you going to ask me for money?
No. We take up an offering as a part of our worship. It’s for the regular attendees and is our way of thanking God for the blessings He has given us. We give you a blue card to put in the plate.
6. What’s the blue card?
The blue card is for contact information. You don’t have to fill it out unless you want to. If you do, we’ll send you a nice welcome letter. We won’t bug you...show up at your door unannounced... or sell your email address. We respect your privacy.
7. What do you have for my kids? How about my teens?
Lots! Check it out…Naz Kidz or YOUTH
